Switching in an afternoon
There is no SavvyCal importer, so this is a short rebuild rather than a one-click move. Here is the honest version.
Create a free account and connect your calendar
Google, Outlook or iCloud. Busy times are read from every connected calendar so you are never double-booked.
Recreate your links as booking types
Open SavvyCal in one tab and TidyCal in another. Name, length, availability, price and intake questions. Most hosts have two to five.
Connect payments and video
Stripe or PayPal for paid bookings, on the free plan. Zoom, Google Meet or Teams links are created automatically on paid plans.
Swap your booking link
Email signature, website, social profiles. Leave SavvyCal running until its last booked meeting has happened, then cancel the seat.
Why people switch from SavvyCal
There is no free plan
The pricing page lists Basic and Premium, both per user. TidyCal has a Free plan with no time limit.
Taking payment needs Premium
Paid bookings are a Premium feature: $20 per user per month, or $17 billed yearly.
Custom domains and removing branding are Premium too
On TidyCal both come with Pro at $12 a month.

When SavvyCal is the better pick
We would rather you pick the right tool than switch and regret it.
- You want invitees to overlay their calendar on yours. SavvyCal does this well. TidyCal does not have it.
- You protect focus time with ranked availability and time blocking. SavvyCal lists both under its time defense features. TidyCal does not.
- An assistant books for you. SavvyCal Premium has delegated access. TidyCal does not.
Who switches from SavvyCal
Coaches, consultants and freelancers who charge
Paid bookings, packages, subscriptions and coupons on the free plan. On SavvyCal the same thing is $20 a month per person.
Small teams and agencies
Round robin and collective bookings for up to 4 people for $79 once, or the whole team on Pro, where adding a person costs nothing.
Questions before you switch
Does TidyCal have a free plan, unlike SavvyCal?
Yes. TidyCal Free is $0 with no time limit and includes unlimited bookings, unlimited booking types, paid bookings through Stripe or PayPal, recurring and package bookings and your own booking page. SavvyCal's pricing page lists two paid plans and no free one: Basic at $12 per user per month, or $10 billed annually.
Can I import my SavvyCal links into TidyCal?
Not automatically. TidyCal has a one-click importer for Calendly but not for SavvyCal, so you recreate your scheduling links as booking types by hand. Each takes a minute or two. Existing SavvyCal meetings stay on SavvyCal until they happen; new bookings come through TidyCal.
How long does switching from SavvyCal to TidyCal take?
About 15 minutes for a solo account. Create a free account, connect your calendar, recreate your links, connect Stripe or PayPal if you charge, and swap the booking link in your email signature and website.
Can I charge for bookings on TidyCal without a paid plan?
Yes. Paid bookings, packages, subscriptions and discount codes are on the free plan. On SavvyCal, paid bookings are a Premium feature at $20 per user per month.
Is TidyCal cheaper than SavvyCal for a team?
Yes. SavvyCal is per seat: a team of 5 on Basic is $720 a year, and $1,200 on Premium. TidyCal has no per-user fee. Round robin, collective bookings and a team booking page are on the Agency lifetime plan for $79 once (up to 4 people), or Pro at $99 a year for the whole team.
What does SavvyCal do that TidyCal does not?
SavvyCal lets the person booking overlay their own calendar on yours to find a slot, and has time-defense tools like ranked availability, frequency limits and time blocking, plus delegated access for assistants. If your calendar is the product you are protecting, SavvyCal is built for that. TidyCal is built for taking bookings, including paid ones, at the lowest possible cost.
Can I keep using my own domain?
Yes, on TidyCal Pro. SavvyCal offers custom domains on Premium.
Will my SavvyCal links keep working during the switch?
Yes, until you cancel your SavvyCal seat. Update the link in your email signature, website and social profiles to your TidyCal page, and leave SavvyCal running until the last meeting booked there has happened.
Coming from Calendly instead? That switch is one click. Also compared: Cal.com, Acuity, Zoho Bookings.
Good and not so good, on both sides
I make TidyCal, so it's listed first. Each tool below says what it does better than us.
01
Best value
Best for: solo pros who charge for their time
- Price
- Free plan. Individual Lifetime is $29 once. Pro is $12 a month or $99 a year.
I built TidyCal for coaches, consultants and tutors who want people to book and pay without a monthly bill. The Free plan has unlimited booking types and takes payment through Stripe or PayPal, with packages, subscriptions and discount codes included. It is not a sales-team router. If you run inbound sales on Salesforce, Calendly is the better pick.
Good
- Unlimited booking types and paid bookings on the Free plan
- Pay once: Individual Lifetime $29, Agency Lifetime $79 for up to 4 people
- Imports Calendly event types, bookings and contacts
Not so good
- Free and Lifetime plans pay a 1% platform fee on Stripe bookings. Pro does not
- No routing forms and no Salesforce
- Text reminders (US and Canada) need Agency Lifetime or Pro
- Automatic Zoom, Meet and Teams links need a Lifetime or Pro plan
- Round robin and a team page need Agency Lifetime or Pro
02
Best for: consultants and sales reps with lots of 1:1 calls
- Price
- No free plan. Basic is $12 per user a month ($10 billed yearly).
SavvyCal lets invitees overlay their own calendar on your availability, which makes picking a time faster. Ranked availability and time blocking protect your focus time. Charging for bookings needs Premium.
Good
- Invitees overlay their calendar on yours
- Ranked availability and time blocking
- An assistant can book for you (delegated access, Premium)
Not so good
- No free plan
- Taking payment needs Premium at $20 per user a month
- Custom domains and removing branding are Premium too
How we checked
Every competitor price comes from that company's own pricing page, read on September 30, 2026, at the billing period shown next to it. Tools with no published price we could verify carry no dollar figure. The ranking is for a solo pro or small team choosing between TidyCal and SavvyCal. Nobody paid to be on this list. TidyCal's prices come straight from the plans we sell, so they match what you will pay, and the 1% platform fee on Stripe bookings is the live rate.
